Old Chateau false info

some of you may have heard of a rumor that, in the old chateau in eterna forest, a little girl ghost appears and she'll think that you killed her an she'll kill you. I just want to say that this is NOT TRUE. while there IS ghost, she won't do anything to you. she will be in the next room and she'll just walk out. the only thing that happens is that you can't move until she leaves. there is absolutely no harm. Very Happy

i don't know about the girl, but there is a rare Pokemon in the t.v. beat the elite 4 to get to battle it

I saw the girl when I went in there and the rare pokemon is Rotom.

Can you even talk to her? As for the rare, I could probably never catch him, considering I always lose to the Elite 4, no matter how much I try to level up.

that little girl scares me. seriously, kids game? i know im not a kid anymore, but what are the creators trying to do, scare the crap out of little kids? and rotom was super easy to catch. hes not technically a legendary, but there just happens to be only one of him in the entire game. go figure...

I'm going to have to agree with you there. There is a bit of a fine line between mysterious, and freaky elements in a game (when it come's to children's games, at least.)
It's funny how rumors like "talk to her and she will kill you" get started to begin with, because just imagine how silly you would have to look STARTING something like that in the first place Razz

That said, I have heard much weirder ones, so I suppose that rant could be saved for another discussion...

Haha, yup, it's usually them who start most of the strange ones.
Except for the Pokegod rumors. I would assume those were started by grown men, because such evil, and diabolical lies can only be conjured by the sick, matured mind...

Haha, yup, it's usually them who start most of the strange ones.

Glad you asked! Pokegods are supposed "secret Pokemon" in the various Pokemon games (usually R/B/Y) that are acquired by outrageous means; i.e. completing your Pokedex in one day, getting 100 Pokemon to level 100, catching 100 shiny Pokemon, etc. They are generally made up, and thrown on the internet just for sh*ts and giggles.
A few well known examples are Togipi (found in R/B/Y,) Houhou, Mewthree, Yoshi, and Pikablu. Technically, Mew itself can be considered a Pokegod, because people make up weird ways to catch it too (see the S.S. Anne truck theories...)

huh. interesting. i have heard a little about one, but i dont think it has a name. its just some random glitch thats supposed to be mew. something about viridian forest and surfing half on land... again, r/b/y.
